AIYA and Greetings Eldalië (Elfkind) and Elendili (Elf Friends)!
Thank you so much for visiting our website! We are Tië eldaliéva, meaning the Elven Path, or the Path of
the Star-people.
Our founders met online via Middle-earth Reunion (MeR) to create, or rather re-create,
as closely as possible the original spirituality and
way of the Elves, and in particular of the "Quendi" or
the Elves described in JRR Tolkien's collective Arda
(Middle-Earth) writings, also known as the
Legendarium. We came together to expand our understanding of the innate wisdom of the Elves - a wisdom that is so clear and well-portrayed in these stories; as well as to integrate, and even practice, this wisdom in our everyday lives.
This is not a role-playing game (RPG) or a work of fiction, but rather an actual spiritual path for anyone who wishes to travel it, and experience it, on a very practical level. We currently have less than a handful of site visitors who identify themselves as roleplayers, but use our materials for their own spiritual path that they practice separately from and outside of their roleplaying games - that is, when they are being themselves - not their roleplaying character(s). In fact, this information can even be used by anyone regardless of spiritual background as a way to not only further study JRR Tolkien's Legendarium, but to also experience for themselves the innate spirituality the Legendarium contains.
We feel that JRR Tolkien's Legendarium is in fact a
valid mythology, in that mythology itself is well-told
and well-repeated STORIES! JRR Tolkien, being an
expert linguist and master story-teller, was the
perfect medium. He invested 56 years of his
life to create this gorgeous mythological "tapestry"
by unravelling the time-tattered threads of the oldest
stories of our ancestors, and using the threads of
these mythological "truths" from known and unknown
legendary sources - and rewove them, filling in any
empty spots with great care not to disturb the essence
of the work but rather support it - and then arriving
at a deep and profound result that strikes our
collective spiritual cords, allowing us to do the
ultimate: CONNECT with the One, the Source, or All
That Is, even if only for a glimpse - and then we feel so alive and are

There are some groups that blend some Legendarium
elements and place these sometimes random pieces into
their current spiritual practice (and links are
available if this interests you). However, Tië eldaliéva has instead painstakingly used the
Legendarium as the framework or BASIS, seeing if
pieces from other sources intermesh or "fit" the
Legendarium experience (and many don't), all without
being overly scholarly but instead quite spiritually
practical. Tië eldaliéva came together officially in
cyberspace on August 23, 2005 and is quickly becoming
a beautiful tradition to experience!
Despite the complications in the creation process,
anyone with sincerity and love can easily practice
this path, and it helps if they are drawn to Elves and
their apparent ways. However, during this process, we
have noticed people drawn to this path that believe
that they have had past lifetimes as Tolkienist Elves,
though some of us have other elven experiences as
well. Also, much to our surprise, there is also some
exploration of the very real possibility of Elven
genetics or biology, or in other words, Elf blood or
DNA, due to legends of Half-Elven peoples.
Anyone practicing this path while experiencing
connection and understanding that resonates into their
very bones, will wish to read as a prerequisite The
Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien, edited by Christopher
Tolkien (1977), which comes in many versions, including this beautiful hardback with Ted Nasmith's art, and if there were such a book that
would be a basic "Bible" for this path, this would be
it.
Although there is no sustitute for reading the Silmarillion, we have recently located a good summary of its material with this Guide to the Silmarillion.
